We are grateful and thankful to our Fire District 13 voters and citizens for their overwhelming support of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) 'lift the lid' proposition recently approved on the November 5th election ballot.
As a mostly volunteer fire department serving the Browns Point and Dash Point areas, Fire District 13 exists to provide:
All actions of fire district staff, volunteers and commissioners must be in furtherance of the services and mission noted above. Restoring the EMS tax levy to .50 cents per thousand will provide additional funding to assist with a much needed upgrade of our aid vehicle and ensure EMS-related equipment, training and administration meet current regulations and standards.
We appreciate the community support and public trust, as evidenced by the recent election results. We will continue to evaluate our service, improve operational procedures, provide comprehensive training and engage in strategic planning to ensure Fire District 13's financial resources are carefully allocated in a fiscally prudent manner.
Thank You Browns Point / Dash Point Community,
Fire District 13 Staff & Commissioners
